Fox Prairie Working For Kids

Members

Any parent or guardian of a student at Fox Prairie can be a member of Working for Kids. The principal and any teacher(s) at the school may be advisory members. There are four officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Officers are elected at the first meeting of the new school year. 

Our officers for the 2025-2026 school year are Nicole Timm (President), Courtney Sime (Vice President), Vicki Haskell (Treasurer) and Tess Matson (Secretary).

What We Do

Working for Kids creates opportunities to enhance a sense of community within our school. We host events throughout the year that bring students and families together at school or in the community for socialization, recreation, and fun. We also do fundraising throughout the year so that we can provide financial support for things like school-wide field trips, Reading is Fundamental (RIF) books for all students, individual support to classrooms and teacher and staff appreciation.  For more details, see our 2019-2020 Annual Report.

We are hoping to have all in person meetings this school year! The best way to stay up to date is to like our Facebook page @FoxPrairieWFK and watch for WFK info in the Fox Prairie e-news. 

Fundraising

Here is a way you can continue to help us raise funds:  
 

Box Tops for Education: 

• Physical Box Top clips are being phased out of production, but are still found on some products. Continue to clip them and save to send to school.
• Download the Box Tops app from the App Store or Google Play. Then select Fox Prairie Elementary as your school and scan your store receipts within 14 days to find participating products.

Casey's General Store

• Sign up for rewards on the Casey’s app or online at Caseys.com.
• For every 250 points, you can make a $1 donation to Fox Prairie!
